Spectre & Valken Partner for Soft Goods

9:20 AM in Paintball News by valken_hq

DANBURY, CT — SPECTRE announced today that for the remainder of the 2011 season and on, Valken will be their official soft goods provider. The team would like to thank Will Bourgault, Gino Postorivo, and the rest of the team at Valken for their generosity in welcoming SPECTRE to the Valken family. Said Team Captain Mark Maher, “Breaking into the paintball industry nowadays is a pretty difficult thing to do successfully, but Valken has progressed in leaps and bounds since we first met their team in September, and we’re proud to support a company that stands by a quality product. SPECTRE has always been on the bleeding edge of the scenario frontlines, where the comfort and durability of the gear you’re wearing makes just as much of a difference as the skill of the player. We couldn’t think of a better company to keep us out there on the front than Valken.”

Valken is committed to bring paintball back to the players, and supporting a dedicated, hardworking team like SPECTRE is a major part of that philosophy. The Valken Sports team is excited to work with SPECTRE and are very interested in seeing what the rest of 2011 has in store for the Danbury CT based team.

The team will be debuting their new Valken gear at Paintball Sports New York’s Global Crisis game on June 4th and 5th. Those interested can stop by the team tent for product demos and answers to any questions they may have.

Timothy Shoemaker of Valken Sponsored Team Sons of Vegenance Named D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year

2:41 PM in Valken Corps Team News by valken_hq

Timothy Shoemaker from our sponsored team Sons of Vegeance was named D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year for his work in the Borough of Ramsey to keep kids off drugs.

From the Cliffview Pilot article:

“I’ll admit that there’s also a bit of validation here,” he confessed. “My vision for this assignment was unrealistically ambitious from the start. Still, I committed myself to it and have pursued it relentlessly. While there’s much work left to be done, I appreciate this as an opportunity to reflect upon the unique achievements that my team has made.

“There is no doubt that we remain a country stubbornly burdened by the high costs of substance abuse. In this environment, it’s understandable that some of our community members have lost faith in DARE Officers like me. But I’ll never lose faith in them, and I’ll never stop fighting for their future.”
